Question directed towards Mike, but others are welcome to chime in.
Was there a defining moment? Something happened and you just knew your vocation was a professional detailer?
There is a...
Ahhh Ft. Wayne, I'm not too far from you. I'm from Lima, OH - about 45-minutes away down highway 30.
I live with my grandparents 5 minutes away but I grew up at this house. The rest of my family still lived there and I would stay there pretty much every single weekend.
I was at work and got a...
Some replies from detailers on that Facebook group where the question was original posted:
So, the car show season is just around the corner for us northerners, it may been going on all year round for some, but it's about kick off up here in Ohio in April.
My question is, how do you...
If I did a pickup, I wouldn't be using a trailer. I'd be using the bed.
Would look for an S-10/Colorado or a Ranger/F-150 with an EXTENDED BED. Perhaps a Toyota/Dodge/Nissan but I'd rather...
Been thinking about doing this, but with motorcycles.
Buy them in November/December when they're cheap...then re-sell in spring time when their prices are back up.

Looks like that's what I'm going to be going with.
Those are accounts Bamboo.
Pages are able to be merged.
www.facebook.com/pages/merge
It even says:
I just went to attempt to merge them.
FB only lets me keep the one with more likes which is the 'Niko's Automotive Detailing". Damn lol
I was just wanting the 'Likes' because it gives my FB page relevance, you know? Don't want to lose all of that.
But merging? Elaborate? I'm all for starting the "Molina Auto Detailing" Facebook...
Unless Facebook will allow an exception or there is a way to "bypass" the limit of username(URL) changes, then it's going to have to be Niko's Automotive Detailing because I can not change the...
####.
I may be stuck with "Niko's Auto Detailing"
I can't change my Facebook url. It's www.facebook.com/NikosAutoDetailing and that's what it's going to stay at.
It won't allow me to change...
I've been struggling with coming up with a name for my future detailing business. It will be both mobile and fixed.
It was originally "Niko's Automotive Detailing". I read Mike's post about having...
Predicament between the ending of 'detail':
Midwest Auto Detail by Niko Molina
or
Midwest Auto Detailing by Niko Molina
I've went through and liked all of yours. Heres mine:

Do you guys wear T-shirts or polos? Why?
Any of you guys have pictures and/or write ups/logs of pickup-based detailing rigs?
Looking for ideas & inspiration.
Aha, so we have a vote for the pickup.
I'm personally leaning towards the pick up as well but I'm completely open-minded to the idea of the cargo van and perhaps other suggestions.
I have a question that is relevant to the thread:
I was originally going to start out part-time as a mobile detailer and I selected a name: "Niko's Mobile Detailing"
However, I thought about it...
I've been a regular at the same gym for the past 6 years and know most of the regulars there and the staff.
The people that are 'regulars' at a gym tells a lot about their work ethic as a person....
Great post Bamboo! Will keep this all in mind once I pull the trigger for my business.
Once I decide to pull the trigger to purchase a vehicle for mobile detailing Spring 2016, I'm going to have to make a good purchase based upon my needs.
I will at times, daily-drive it to my 9-5...
Future business. The signature is simply my future logo lol.
Perfecting my skill and increasing my knowledge before I go out and make a name for myself around my area.
I plan on going to Mike's detailing class in July however I'll have already bought some detailing supplies and will be doing a bit over the summer.
I see people live by the Flex. I see some...
