I thought I remembered seeing an article by Mike Phillips about dealing with suntan lotion / lotions on interiors. Does this exist or am I just see things?
I'm going to throw in Griot's Interior Detailer. Awesome cleaning, great smell, UV protection and does leave a nice low gloss sheen. Checks all of my boxes!!
I was able to get a 22oz bottle from Griots's (I know people, shhhhh..) the other day. Used it on my next customers black Lexus. IT was cold out, 34* and cloudy. Just as directed, a light mist onto a...
:buffing:I had a chance to play with a G8 the other day at Griot's. All I can say is AMAZING!!!! Balanced, quiet, little vibration and a whole lot of power for a machine this size. I'll be there to...
Used up the last of my D166 yesterday and looking at trying the new AIO from P&S...Playmaker. A Search here turned up nothing, anyone using it and how do you like it compared to D166, 3D Speed,...
I agree with this too. I have coated multiple vehicles outdoors. Working on panel at a time, on a calm day with no pollen in the air, and in the shade....I've had no issues and very, VERY happy...
So I've been using Bead Maker on all the glass on my vehicles to test out hydrophobic properties and durability. Works great as expected for a couple months, .....but then my windshield got really...
I have a customer with a '03 Element with the OEM Honda grey trim and she wants it black. Would Black Solution finish provide enough coverage to make it black for her and still last a decent amount...
Looks awesome! While Tesla is a great car, the quality just is not there. This is an 85-S I detailed a few weeks ago after it had some body work done at a Tesla dealer after a slight mishap. 4 months...
I just use a combination of my name and my business name. As far as Facebook, I make at least a $1k a month from customers I get from shares, likes and referals all from FB. :xyxthumbs:

Griot's 3 in 1 is nowhere near aggressive enough to do that unless a wire brush was used. I'm leaning towards the surface being compromised prior to the 3-1 being used.
Follow up with the Surface Prep to strip off all the old, foam with Poly Gloss and you have a clean and protected car that the paint wasn't even touched!! Good stuff with this system!
I don't really get the high end show cars that need 40 hrs of correction. I seem to get the daily drivers and the soccer mom minivans. Of course I'll ask what their concerns are, but I really just...
She has some good points for sure and sounds like she was definitely taken for a ride. I've been using PayPal since day one and have had no issues. I did have my account hacked once (got my info by...
I use the BOSS system pretty much exclusively. I use all Griots DA's, and yes you can get them to stall on concave surfaces. I run a G6 with the 3" HD plate or sometimes my G21 with the inter-flex...
I'm at $65 for clay, waterspot removal and Griot's Garage Glass Sealant, glass protectant, windshield sealant on all glass and side mirrors. Takes around 45 min to do. All glass gets a polish as I'm...
It's going to depend on what the condition is of the paint/gel coat. If it's in really good shape with no oxidation, I would say at least 8. If its badly oxidized you may need 20+. I just used 18 on...
