    Re: Autogeek sales?

Before, like last year wasn't it?, they seemed to have 15,20,25 percent sales frequently. It seemed like they were giving it away.
Now that spring fever is here, I have been checking for the last...

Re: Best Glue to fix FLEX 3401 Backing Plate?

Make sure to clamp it. I would spread thin and sandwich it between some pieces of 2 x 6, then clamp.
    Looks like it dries slow.

I have good luck with Loctite superglue gel. I always clamp when...

    Re: I hate black

If black is polished and coated it will still look good from a distance when somewhat dirty.
Pollen , mud and salt residue (in winter) will mess with any cars appearance.

    I polished my 2004 black...

    Tuf Shine oopsie.

Well I guess Tuf Shine doesn't like single stage paint.
First time I used it on these.
They were protected by Gloss Coat, Essence Plus and probably Ech20/Reload and Elixir after a few years.

    Re: Pressure washer inquiry

If you do a search for the MTM SG-28, you find it on amazon .
Underneath where they have the frequently bought together items are the necessary couplers for the gun.

This is all I bought to use...

Re: Still use a waffle weave for drying?

I have the PFM but prefer the McKees Glacier.
I like the edges better on the Glacier. I am not a fan of wrapped edges.

Re: Sonax The BEAST Wheel Cleaner Review

Thanks Jacob, I have been waiting for a review.

Do you think it would cut if diluted?
Maybe fill the rest of the bottle with distilled water/give it a go and post the results here? just an idea....

Re: Will I really see a difference?

Certain tools just fit my hands better the 3401 is one of them. I need it, like I need my Estwing hammer or 12 inch 440 Channellocks.
Sure you can get the job done with other less expensive tools...

Re: How to revive microfiber drying towels?

Hey, that's what I do for 2 days with Zep505. But if that works maybe I will finally buy a microfiber specific detergent.

Re: Looking for an after wash topper spray

From my phone so excuse me.
Elixir is somewhat pricey but it will serve your purpose.
Like i said before Ech20/Reload is nice to have laying around.

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Put the winter tires on, polished the glass, rinseless the car then applied Carpro FlyBy30 on the glass.
I should have polished my headlights and coated them but I had already put the Flex away.

  16. Re: Outdoor faucet or adapter for indoor sink for power washer

The Y mixer adapter is a great simple solution if there is no sink involved.
  17. Re: Outdoor faucet or adapter for indoor sink for power washer

These things are cheap and kick bootie if you have a plastic utilitub.
I used one at work to wash a basement floor with a 25 foot Flexzilla 5/8" hose.
The thing blasted 20 feet without a sprayer.

Re: Looking for an after wash topper spray

    This caught my eye.
Has this been checked before side by side?
Honestly the Reload/Ech20 is good enough considering the price points.

I have been having good luck with Elixir over UK3. Then...
  19. Re: Outdoor faucet or adapter for indoor sink for power washer

Go with the garage sink which I would imagine is a version of a plastic laundry/utility sink.
I use my adjacent laundry/ utility sink for the same purpose.

You can blend that way without new...
  20. Re: Do you coat (or dress) both sides of your tires?

    Go Mike.
    Your my hero.
Now I don't feel like an outcast.

If the wheels come off, why not coat em.
On those trucks you have owned, you almost have to coat the inside with something.
  21. Re: Do you coat (or dress) both sides of your tires?

    Yay.

I do a less vigorous cleaning on the inside and one coat of whatever coating I'm using on any seasonal tires I deal with.

I usually get a glimpse of the inside from different angles and...
