Re: How to I polish curved panels?

    Hi Mike!

I am actually using the 4" backing plate and 5" pads. If you can use this setup to polish out the back side of mirrors I am guessing my technique is flawed, which means more practice. ...

Re: How to I polish curved panels?

I had the flex on speed 4. I couldnt keep it on the mirror housing. It was just too much. I will have to purchase a mini or something.

Re: How the heck do I polish these areas?

I have a flex 3401. I dont think they make a mini pad/backing plate. What would I need to do it by hand?

    Re: MONSTER C6 Corvette

Any reason you use those instead of a dual 500 w halogen setup? I think those are 70$ish versus you said 450$ for yours.

How the heck do I polish these areas?

Right now the only tool I have is a flex 3401. I am wondering how everyone details around emblems and gets in the small nooks and crannies?

For example the back of the side mirror housings? If...

Re: Foam cannon not performing as expected

I would try a different soap to see if it is the foam cannon. Also, use warm/hot water and only fill the bottle 3/4 way full. This usually gives me the best results.

A little of both unfortunately. Do you think a APC will work?
  18. Re: Best way to clean molding under door and near tires

  23. Re: Flex 3401 / Microfiber pads - best combo pad/backing plate

Consensus is that the flex with 5" lake country hybrid pads are the best. You have to use the 4" backing plate with them.
  24. Re: Pad recomendations for Flex 3401 & WG products?

All you really need are the LC Hybrid orange/white/black pads.
