I don't have that much experience with the products you're using but it seems that you may have to use the swirl remover with the orange pad to get rid of the trails. If not then go more aggressive...

I haven't really been too active lately and with my finals coming I'm not really detailing anymore, but I finally had some time and decided to treat my DD to a little detail.

Anytime I clay I see if there are any swirls or significant scratches before I decide to polish, I do it about every 4 or 6 months my car is parked outside basically 24/7 so I just try to maintain it...

There's always gravel trucks on the I-95 in FL so I've learned to just live with the chips I have, the car looks a lot better than other cars I see even after seeing 100k and 7 years in the FL sun
