I would only use v7 as a quick detailer, as much as they wanna say it has sealant paint blend NASA funded bullcrap technology.
As mentioned, it only lasts a week or so for any protection. Unless...

Try CG p40 detailer. Can be diluted and half the price of v7.
Same with speed shine.

Chemical guys products are great value, but very gimmicky.
No need for 10 different window cleaners, or rim cleaners.
I swear by them tho, just do research and don't get sucked into the trap....

Quick detail after drying and you'll get a good shine.
Right now I'm autoglym shampoo and CG p40.
I wouldn't rely on shampoo to bring out the paints shine.
Next wash will be with glossworkz...
