Re: Took my wheels to the local tire shop

Looks like whenever I get nice wheels, I'll be plasti-dipping the crap out of them before I take them to a tire shop!

Re: Two bucket vs Garry Dean wash

You guys are being stubborn and for some reason can't get it through your heads that all though ONR is called a "rinseless wash", it is still a car "soap/shampoo". When using ONR you are not...

  6. Re: Best presoak method with UWW+ before using ONR for rinseless?

You're overthinking it. You don't even need to pre-soak when using ONR. But, if it makes you feel better, just use your big pump sprayer, "pre-soak" a few panels, then wipe with ONR. Dry with WW...

    Re: I think I'm becoming a fanboy...

I'm a big fan of Optimum myself! My arsenal consists of OPC, Opti-Seal, ONR, OCWax, Hyper Compound, Hyper Polish, G-P-S, Opti-Bond, Glass Cleaner & Protectant, Carpet & Fabric Cleaner & Protectant,...

Nice job! How long do you wait between coats of Opti-Lens? I've never read/thought about doing multiple coats of it.

    Wow...

How long did you allow #7 to sit on the paint?
  10. Re: Found a scratch after applying sealant, now what?

After correcting the paint, it seems pretty counter-productive to put on the "car cover" to me. Car covers can also scratch your paint pretty easily.

    Re: Shoe Odor

    Came in to post this

Baking soda and dryer sheets work well, though I haven't had to deal with any foot odor since about 2001.

Sounds gross but I've been using the same pair of socks to work...

Re: DIY LED Work Light (much better than halogen!)

Here are examples I took of single diode vs multi diode at Home Depot today.

This EcoSmart bulb was available a while back (one of the recommended bulbs on a thread on Autopia), but started coming...

Re: DIY LED Work Light (much better than halogen!)

I'm very interested in that Boom setup. How stable is it when the bulbs are hanging over like that? I know they're pretty heavy. How does the boom connect to the stand? Is it the same connection as...

Re: DIY LED Work Light (much better than halogen!)

Nice write up! I made this set up a few weeks ago, but currently only have 1 PAR38 bulb.

Just for everyone: Make sure that the bulb you get is a SINGLE DIODE bulb. I could only find a PAR38 5000k...
  20. Re: Up Close & Personal: SONAX Wheel Cleaner PLUS *NEW*

Any idea if Sonax will be making these in the 5L like FE? If so, does AG plan on carrying the 5L WC+?

Edit: Apparently there's already a 25!!! (twenty-five) Liter bottle of WC PLUS!

Opti-Seal spritzed onto your drying towel has been great for me. I mainly do ONR washes.

Re: New steamer to speed up cleaning

So you're just steaming and wiping over it with a dry MF towel? No pre spraying or any kind of lubrication?

I'd also like to see how easy that makes interiors.
