Re: Anyone else hate their Flex 3401?

If you want the most cut from your 3401; tuff buff black wool pads are the way to go. Combine that with the FG400 and there's not much it can't handle.

Re: I'm Looking for a Cheap Paint Thickness Gauge

Unless you're going to buy Defelsko that from what I've read can measure the actual clear coat I'm uncertain what the cheaper paint gauges will provide me?? Who cares if it reads 100 microns and 99...

Re: Deciding on Steam Cleaner and Extractor

I currently have the Dupray Hill Injection and it handles 90% of everything I throw at it. It's so much for versatile than an extractor however on really soiled fabrics nothing beats an extractor...

    Coatings and Clear Bra

Will a acrylic based resin coating affect the adhesion of a new clear bra. Should a coating be applied after the clear bra or is it a non issue?

Re: F150 hard or soft paint

I have a '13 F150 in tuxedo black and I'd say it's on the softer side.
  10. Re: WeatherTech Mats: Inexpensive Insurance for Keeping Your Interior PRISTINE

The fit isn't the problem. It's the height of the lips on some models. The G37 is coming too me in a two weeks time I will post up some photos to show. As for my F150, as long as the truck is...
  11. Re: WeatherTech Mats: Inexpensive Insurance for Keeping Your Interior PRISTINE

These were customer's cars. On some models they're great, my wife has an RDX and not a spot of salt on the carpets. However my F150 the salt runs off along the door side of my seat, horrible design.
  12. Re: WeatherTech Mats: Inexpensive Insurance for Keeping Your Interior PRISTINE

It's a newer model. Everything leaked underneath the seat. I'll see if I can find some pics.
  13. Re: WeatherTech Mats: Inexpensive Insurance for Keeping Your Interior PRISTINE

They're really great for some models on others they are absolute garbage. What I mean by that is that the lip for some models just isn't high enough to contain liquids especially in winter. I'd shop...

    Re: Esteam E600 Extractor

Any updates on this machine? Still liking it? Any issues?

Re: Rant: Body shop kindly washed my car...

Same thing happened last year to my F150. Called to inquire if they were done with it and the guy was all happy to tell they had taken real good care and washed it for me. My heart sank as I was...

    Re: Simple question

I'd say there's something wrong with the product. Even if the paint has been clayed I always get purple streaking from things like side markers, emblems, plastic mouldings and creases etc.

Re: poorboys... Tell me the truth

Agreed!! It's all I use for tires and interior dressing. Also a big fan of their bug squash and black hole glaze. I have all of their polishes, they work but there's better products to be had.

Why not sand with 3000 after the 2000 phase. That will certainly help.

  25. Re: How To Use the Dupray Hill Injection Steam Cleaner

I have the same machine and can't imagine living without it. I've removed years of encrusted salt stains with the injection feature. What would have taken hours and lots of elbow grease takes minute....
