The 3" CCS pads are incredible! I approached Nick about AG carrying them, but he said the didn't think there would be any interest in them. I contacted ADS, and after a little convincing, they...
I agree completely! My only gripe with these applicators, and it's really more just a minor annoyance, is that they tend to tip over at the slightest hint of drag. I think your suggestions would...
Larry from AMMO NYC has a video about matte finishes, and in it he visits BMW where they go into detail about what exactly is involved in creating the finish, and how to care for it. Check it out,...
Only place I know that carries them is Detailed Image. I've been bugging Nick to carry either those or the 3" CCS pads, but he says nobody would be interested in them. I respectfully disagree...
Mind if I ask what the quote was? I know it isn't going to be the same in other places, but it would at least give others a general idea. Maybe others would be willing to share as well?
On an Opti Coat or other coating job, I would absolutely use Reflect since I'd want the surface to be as perfect as possible. On a normal sealant/wax job, it probably isn't worth it.
Like mentioned before, switch to MF pads. Both Meguiar's and BnS pads are phenomenal. My last few details have been Fords with rock hard paint, and even yellow LC pads weren't getting things out. ...
Reflect is quite an amazing polish. I'm working on a 2008 Ebony Black Ford Focus, and after getting an amazing finish with Sonax PF, I taped off a section and followed up with Reflect on a black LC...
I do have to say that AG does listen to our feedback, and makes changes where feasible. For example, I like their new "3-day shipping to the West Coast" deal. I think if AG were to expand that to...
DO NOT soak your felt ring in oil like shown in the video above, or as described in a previous post. That is way too much oil - all you need is a few drops. ...
Back in the day, I owned a business that sold DVDs on eBay. Our distributor (a site anyone could order from) drop-shipped the DVDs for free, but we charged shipping (aka: our profit). Included in...
I am in no way knocking CG by saying they don't manufacture certain products. I think it's great that they are able to put their own name on different products. It...
Those plates are another product that CG doesn't actually make. They are sold by almost every detailing supplier, including here at AG. That being said, they (referring to the generic version),...
FG 400 has been my go-to compound as well, but I have been trying out WG Uber, and that just might be the new champ. Too bad I can't buy it at a huge discount like I can FG 400...
