Griots paint prep works great and doesn't need to be applied by machine. Spray it on, massage into paint, rinse thoroughly.

Griots Garage spray on wax is excellent.

Steaming the exterior just doesn't cut it for me. Heck, I'm reluctant to use a pressure washer. I use my steamer for interior only.
