Is it possible to lighten the gel a few shades with wet sanding it, or using a different product, or possibally wiping it down with a solvent (mineral spirits, aceatone, etc prior to buffing???
I`m working on a project I picked up and I`m wondering if it`s possible to get the white gelcoat to either lighten up a few shades or more or get it back to ultra pure white.

I normally "wax" with speed then top with Colonite 476, can I just use this like a "spray wax" either after the wash or after waxing with my normal combo?
Cruz, I'm in SoCal also so I'm interested in the position of your testing as I'm currently using speed/476 combo and it lasts 2 months before I need to wash it and re-apply so contanimates don't too...
Speed with an immediate top of 845 or now I usually use double coat (paste version of 845). Speed alone in so cal is 30 days max with lots of impurities imbedded, speed with 845 is about the same...
