    The rule of thumb is to wash only as much of the car as you can with out the soap drying. Just before its starts to dry, grab the hose and rinse off the soap, then wet the other panels and continue...

    I was using too much product and a cloth that wasn't dedicated to windows. For a general clean the first thing i do is the front window...
