    Iron-X is effective, but expensive. Iron-Out in the powder or spray form is much less expensive and very effective. (It is what I use)

    The abrasive action of the wipers eventually takes opt-coat off and leaves you an unevenly coated windshield. I coat all the glass (even sunroofs), but I Aquapel the windshield.

    I use a Porter Cable pancake compressor as well...it is a 6 Gallon unit. One good aspect is that it goes to 150 psi...which makes for a little less cycling...
