    Re: 2010 Camaro RS Black/Green

Nope none at all, I don't find the orange that rough. Just condition it well and make sure it's lubed up with polish.

    2010 Camaro RS Black/Green

Hey guys. I used to post on here all the time about 1 1/2 - 2 years ago. Used to do some professional detailing during the summer. I don't do it for money (much) anymore, but once a detailer, always...
  3. Re: Got a chance to use Poorboy's White Diamond w/one of our new Cross Groove pads!

Matt, how is the filling effect? Is the product kind of thick? Easy to buff off? What speed did you use the PC at to work it in and did you work in more as a light polish or a paint cleaner? Once...

    Re: Target MF Towels!? AWESOME!

The only good vroom towels imo are the gray ones that are the 4-pack for $5.99, I believe these are the ones the OP is talking about.

The one's I prefer though for OTC, are the 2-pack's from...

Re: Which wheel cleaner do you use?

I personally love love love Megs wheel brightener. 1 gallon for $20. Dilute to 4:1. That comes out to $5 for 1 gallon.
May not be the "safest", but I've never had a problem with it on all types of...

Got a Harbor Freight near ya?

Was at my local Harbor Freight today to get a torque wrench and ran across 6 cans of Collinite #476 stacked on their shelves. Price was either $10.99 or $11.99, can't remember.

    Just a heads up for...

    Re: Durability??? Collinite Vs Sealant

I don't believe it does, however I've never personally used the bonding agent.

You could try poly charging, that'll be your answer if you want to speed up curing times and add some extra "umph"

    Re: Durability??? Collinite Vs Sealant

No, DG #601 is a bonding agent for DG's sealants. Kinda makes the sealant go on 'roids.

  12. Re: product to make cleaning wheel wells easier.

Simple degreaser for me. Purple Power cut 1:1 and a Mother's Fenderwell brush. Only areas I use Purple Power on are fender wells and tires for cleaning. Can't beat it for $5 a gallon.

    Re: Durability??? Collinite Vs Sealant

I used two layers of Collinite #476 topped on a freshly polished car via Menzerna PO106FF this past winter. (07 Nissan) Applied #476 2x's first week of November. The car went through about 3...

    Re: wolfgang deep gloss sealant

All I know for sure is that the drier the air (less humidity) the quicker the cure time.

EDIT: so to add to this, if I use a sealant (rarely), I apply it early in the morning so it has all day to...

    Re: My Ultimate Detailing Thread

Not real sure what you mean by "permanent polish." But that's ok, I like my 303, haha!

I can't speak for others, but I've rarely heard people using 303 on tires or rubber. It's more of a...

    Re: My Ultimate Detailing Thread

Nope. Trim is black textured plastic. 303 is one of the best protectants I've ever used. There's a reason why it is one of the highest UV protectants.

Don't let me do it... don't.....

I haven't made an order from AG in, probably, 4-6 months. I don't need anything, well not really. I am kinda looking for the blue and grey CCS pad and I do need some more XMT pad cleaner.

    Then I...

Re: How long should garden hose be?

Most of the time, I have a 50 ft. hose which runs into a 1400 PSI Karcer PW (yes, the little electric one), and then 45ft. of PW hose.

When I do my own vehicle, I run a 2 ft. (yes, 2 ft.) into my...

Re: My new caddy laughed at me

SIP is more geared for cerami clear coats and harder paints. I believe SIP and PO106ff are the only Menz polishes specifically designed for cerami clears. (Correct me if I'm wrong)
  25. Re: Whats best for white paint wax or sealant?

I had an Oxford White 2001 Mustang GT. So this is right up my alley.

For sealants, I really loved DG #105. Great shine and protection.

For waxes, I've always been with Surfer on this one. I...
