Update: I got some of the Meguire's Aggressive clay and it worked great! Did the rest of the hood and the trunk in 20 min. Really worked great. 2008 Scion tC.
If I use the 3D compound do I still need to use the clay? Trying to do as little as possible.
Also, if I use the compound do I still need to use the polish or can I just put on a wax?

Kind of new at this, and still learning. Recently I detailed my 2006 Toyota Highlander with a wash, clay bar, Wolfgang Finishing Glaze 3.0 and two coats of WDGPS3.0
How long to wait between coats? I just put my first coat on, will wait an hour to buff off. However the bottle does not say how long to wait between coats.

A year and a half later and the Prius still feels pretty smooth when washed. Its not as beautiful as it was when I first detailed the paint, however its still very nice.

Oh and I didn't use the "swirl remover" I bought as I just wanted to practice with the least abrasive product until I'm really confident. Then I'll try to tackle removing some swirls.
