    Re: EXO Towels

Are towels used for EXO permanently compromised? Is there any way to save them (i.e. dump into strong APC immediately after wiping off one panel)?
  2. Re: I have so much respect for you pros. You work very hard. Thanks!

I'm a lot more impressed that you have a Maserati as a daily driver and are still willing to put in 15 hours of work into it. Most people in your position would have paid someone to do that and sat...

Re: MF towels in the dryer

I toss them in the dryer on low heat all the time. I use 20 minute blocks of time to get them to near-dry,and then air them out to finish the process.

I wish Blackfire was available OTC in my country so that I can avoid the international shipping costs.
  5. Re: What kind of sprayers are you using with a rinseless wash?

Rinseless (like ONR) or Waterless (like UWW+)? The former uses 2 gallons of water and a flushing method, while the latter is a spray and wipe

    Props to the AG team!

Despite the craziness of Detail Fest going on, they shipped my order within 12 hours of payment. Great job guys! :dblthumb2:
  7. Re: Cobra Flex Foam Tire Dressing Applicators - It's a Buy

With the old BF tire gel, they get saturated after 2 full uses (8 tires in total). Meaning that you better wear gloves or it's greasy fingers time.

There are other tire applicators out there where...

I was thinking of getting the cordless Makita myself! :) How do you rate it's use on one charge? Is it light enough for easy use around the vehicle? Thanks!!!

    Re: Waterless washes

I have and use both. I find that Opti-Clean cleans off dirt films better and is slightly better for removing stuff like bird droppings, but is harder to buff off streak free. UWW+ leaves a slicker,...

Re: Are these samples liquid souveran?

It's not just the Liquid Souveran that separates, but the WG Deep Gloss Sealant too =) My approach has been to shake the product in a 3/4 to 1/2 full bottle to aerate the liquid and give it a nice...

Re: First Impressions: CG Hybrid V7

I think I'm far more likely to use it on a clean car as a post-wash spray sealant; I tend to use UWW+ as my QD/WW since it cleans better and still leaves a decent gloss behind.

    First Impressions: CG Hybrid V7

Just wanted to leave my impressions on CG's Hybrid V7 spray sealant/detailer. Didn't have time for pics as I was doing this at night with sub-standard lighting at my parking structure. As product...

    Re: Giving up traditional washing?

Traditional washes are still my preferred choice for heavy cleaning (i.e. lots of dirt or road grime build up), or when I need to strip the surface using harsher chemical cleaners.

    For light duty...
  15. Re: The Uber expensive waxes...what are they REALLY?

Not to be obtuse, but the high end wax vs low end, process vs product wax debate is similar to many other debates on a variety of topics the world over. I like to suggest some similar questions =)

Big fan of the Liquid Souveran. Feels just as slick as WG DGPS and has a slightly greater depth IMO. Durability and price doesn't impress though; lots of competing products out there with similar...

    Re: My first rinseless wash!

If your car is regularly waxed and maintained, most of the ONR will run off the vehicle in the process of cleaning from the hydrophobic effect of waxes/sealants. If the car is not well maintained and...

Maybe I should try it again...

    Re: Obscene shipping fees

The "as long as it fits in a box" scheme and 5 weeks delivery period seem to suggest that it's ocean freight. MyUsa uses air freight I believe.
