Waxing over vinyls, afraid to pull up

I just got this put on my truck. The guy that put it on warned what with all of the ragged edges microfiber towels may catch and pull it off.

What do you guys think? How should I go about waxing...

    Preparing paint for Decals

Tomorrow I am getting my tailgate tagged with some vinyls with my business info on them.

I washed with ONR, then Clayed.

What else should I do to prepare it to take the vinyls? (I would hate...
  6. Re: Crappy Wheels - What approach would you take?

I have been wanting to get them powder coated regardless of their nastiness. My only problems are cash and the fact that I would be wheel-less for a few days.

Toyota Tundra - I think they are...
  7. Re: Crappy Wheels - What approach would you take?

    There is no clear coat.
  8. Crappy Wheels - What approach would you take?

These wheels are awful. No matter how hard I try I can't get them to look good. I've thought about getting the mothers powerball for wheels, but I'm not sure if that is the best option.

    Any...

Re: Waxing and Sealing a car with NO Clearcoat?

Someday I would like to get into painting, but I feel that day is far in my future.

Would be nice though since I have been in school for design for two years. =P

Yep, the owner was ecstatic about the work that I did. The best reaction you could ask for.

  14. Warrensburg Mobile Detailing - Headlight Restoration - 1996 Lexus ES 300

I took these pictures in hopes of selling this service to future clients. I used the 3M Headlight restoration kit. I have used it before and find that you can get 2-3 sets of headlights done with...

Re: Anybody using Square to take credit cards?

I was unlucky enough to have been rejected by square. I have heard that it is quite common to have some sort of mess-up and they will reject your ability to use their service.

    I was told to just...

    Re: Headliner Cleaning

I had a friend come to me after accidentally spraying Coke all over his headliner.

There was also some pre-existing dirt and such. First, I vaccumed to get the big stuff. Then a light spray of...

    I'm just starting out detailing.

I have done door to door marketing with a flier and business cards. It seems to have some effect, not a great one though. Maybe more if you offer a discount if...
