I just used cquartz for the first time on my vehicle, my last car had opticoat. It looks great and was easy to apply. However it was a pain to remove, it flashed too quickly for me. I couldn't let it...
IronX is the better choice. It's safer and how often will you really need wheel brightener? I bet not often enough to need that gallon size that gets diluted 1:4.
I have a metallic white car and it needs to be done every 1-2 months. I do it that often because you can see the iron particles on the back of the car and it bothers me.
My friend asked me to do some work on his Wrangler and get it nice and shiny. The car sits outside 24/7 and may have been washed less than 5x since new, certainly not in the last few years.
I've only had opti coat on my car for a few months now and I can definitely see a difference from when it was fresh applied. Sometimes the water doesn't bead or sheet well on my horizontal panels, a...
I always cringe at the multi hundred thousand dollar cars that have terrible paint during that show. I may see a handful on TV during the weekend that have quality detailing done.
I have a '13 Focus, it's metallic white. I have to hit the back hatch with ironX once a month. There's tons of visible iron contamination after that amount of time. The rest of the cat barely gets...
It's regarded as one of the best by many. I currently use a lot of Megs APC and will try it when I'm out. But they will be a while since Megs dilutes 1:10
IMO almost everything they make is for well maintained vehicles and the strength is appropriate for those vehicles. You won't get very far on a vehicle that needs even a medium level of cleaning.

The darker the paint color the harder it is to see it working. On cars that aren't white you can see it make purple puddles on the ground where it drips off.
Mine needs to be shaken every time I use it. I haven't timed how long it takes to settle but one shake will last the time it takes me to get to all the spots on the car that need it
I had an interior on a friends corvette look exactly like that. His son had just driven it down to FL from MA. The whole interior looked like he had been sanding spackle in the car the entire way...
I do know that it has been the most impressive paint sealant I have used. Between the durability, look, and continued slickness, what more could one want? I...
It's a paintwork cleaner. I'm sure any manufacturers version would work, but if you're going to pay the money for Swissvax you might as well pick up theirs.
Griots Interior Cleaner pulls the blue dye out of my GTO seats even though they are coated. I just use Megs APC 10:1 now and have not had an issue on any car with it.
Looks like a bad repaint. You probably won't have any recourse with the dealer as most used cars are sold "as is". But you won't lose anything by asking.
