    Look around for a used Makita, Other than sheer abuse they are tough to wear out. I found mine for $100.00 used.

    Sohail it takes any standard DA backing plate, 5/16 thread. Look at page 2 of this thread and KB has some great pics and descriptions with some mods to the plate that comes with the Dynabrade

    I did a little side by side testing with the Dynabrade and the PC and the vibration with the Dynabrade seems a lot less.

    Probably the larger orbits creating a lower frequency vibration that is...

    With a rotary youre basicly using a rotary "cutter" so to speak and the majority of the "cutting" is being done on the outside...

    Anything with heat will tend to set the stain, you need an enzymatic cleaner to break down the enzymes in the blood.

    If the owner has tried everything he may have already set the stain.

    Not if you use the topical grade (3%) (the kind you use on cuts) It hasnt harmed anything I ever used it on but by all means test in an inconspicuious area first
