    Re: Bilt Hamber Distribution

But to Chilly's point, the Bilt Hamber USA store will be run by OG, so will have the same shipping Chilly is complaining about.

To your point, this kind of arrangement is the same (unless I'm...

    Re: Wheel Wednesday!

Maybe I have it backwards. Maybe they got screwed up because I used a metric socket on them when they were an imperial size, or vice-versa. I think I still have some spare lugs for that car...

    Re: Wheel Wednesday!

My recollection was that it was a metric size with the stainless was on the outside, and then imperial after it came off, at least on the Chevy I had.

    Re: Wheel Wednesday!

That's weird. Seems like the kind of thing that would go right in the bin once a dealer or tire shop worked on it. Just like every person I've ever talked to that had an exhaust heat shield problem...

    Re: Wheel Wednesday!

Chilly--wheels look good, mountains look good, Perl looks really good. Someday I have to try my little sample bottle.

    Re: Wheel Wednesday!

That's what I do during rotation, of course my being so "OCD" about it always turns a simple rotation into a huge project, I used to just dress the inside of the tires, now I do a coating. And of...

    Re: Post Your Unpacking Pictures

Thanks for posting that! I have one of those Milwaukee "Dremels" and those look like they will come in handy for wheels, I'm going to get some.

    Re: Steering Wheel Product Suggestion

I'm not familiar with that Gyeon product, but the old standby used to be diluted Woolite. Have you tried just going over it with a (water) damp MF after using the Gyeon? If the slickness goes away...

    Re: Incredibly Cheap Finds

How's the quality on that, as good as a Wheel Woolie? Is that a current product? I didn't even realize Meg's was "making" something like that. I'm still using my Meg's wheel brushes circa 2004 or...

    Re: Post Your Unpacking Pictures

That sounds like you've driven from Alaska to the lower 48--you Alaskans are a hardy bunch, the one time I drove from NJ to FL and back I said I'd never do that again, and that was only 1000 or 1200...

    Re: Post Your Unpacking Pictures

Since I was just watching Lost in Translation over the weekend...that French description sure seems to say a lot more than the English...
  17. Re: My 1st legit wheel cleaning disaster…

Disingenuous is the middle name of wheel cleaner marketing. The worst was the ABF wheel cleaners, which claimed to be "non-HF" because Ammonium Bi-Fluoride is a salt...which when mixed with...
  18. Re: what's the last car care/detailing video you've just watched?

Yeah, that--$16 at Home Depot. I find they tend to crack, which is why I was looking for a replacement.
  19. Re: what's the last car care/detailing video you've just watched?

Ha, I was looking at Harbor Freight website to see if they had a wet vac squeegee nozzle since last time I went to Home Depot I was shocked by the Rigid price, and in my search results was a knockoff...

Re: Can you Believe this is a Hyundai

Well, it's for an "N" model, which is in some very limited quantity now, and 641 HP.

I think we're in agreement here, I had just given it a quick look initially and since there were a lot of...
  21. Re: My 1st legit wheel cleaning disaster…

I was just trying to see a silver lining in this if it was a dealer who would send you his bad cars...I guess that's kind of a mixed blessing.

Re: Can you Believe this is a Hyundai

I guess I skimmed over that, I didn't get that "nitro and caps" was what you note, I thought it was some other "mod con" that I was unfamiliar with. That and the wheel locks are pretty bad, as you...

Re: Can you Believe this is a Hyundai

Yeah, I don't know what the "limited quantity" is that's coming to the US, but I guess this is to be expected, just like the dealers used to mark up the Indy pace-car replicas. That protection...

    Re: Carpro Darkside; blotchy, streaky??

Don't apologize. As an old boss of mine used to say "the only stupid question is the one that doesn't get asked". That's what these forums are here for.
