Ah, thanks. Thought you were Hungarian, because Gerencs is a Hungarian name too.

Back to the original question. Breaking down means that the diminishing abrasives in a polish reach their final,...

    Re: ONR As Wiper Fluid?

For me ONR works extremely good as a wheel cleaner. And if it's capable of cleaning off traffic film, it is strong enough to remove from the windshield.

    Re: ONR As Wiper Fluid?

ONR is not supposed to remove wax.

And adding it to the washer fluid is great as it has great cleaning power, and re-establishes a repellent film on the windshield. I added it to 1Z winter fluid...

Re: Flash --- Einszett Lackfinish in Stock

A little trick: spray Lackfinish to a MF mitt before drying and wipe the car down. It will break up the water film wonderfully even on totally unprotected cars and greatly helps the drying process....

Re: Anyone use 1Z Einzette black bottle polishes?

I'm using them and I'm very satisfied with them, especially on conventional finishes. They prefer lower speeds, generally around 1000 RPMs. Obviously, I've never used them in Florida weather here in...

Re: Does anyone use just Mother's products?

If you use B2B as a dressing you won't like it. But if you use it as intended, aka a restorer which needs more hits and meticuluos massage, it will work good.

    Mothers products rival high-end...

Re: 03 AE Vette - Mothers

Mothers makes excellent products! Even the "old" 3-step is a great combo!

The liquid carnauba is one of the easiest to remove product in my regimen. Smells good, looks even better.

Re: Which Wax last longest and shine the most??

Don't expect the initial slickness to last long. When you apply a product, its lifecycle begins and the protection begins to diminish from day one. The performance continually falls to a point where...

Re: Which Wax last longest and shine the most??

NXT 1.0 Paste gives me solid 3 months and looks great. Its slight concealing ability is a welcome effect.

Re: The term "passes" when polishing

Generally, the American interpretation is a complete cycle from spreading to wipeoff, but honestly, I like the British interpretation better, where they use "hit and pass" - hit means the complete...

Joe, just don't try the Touchless again! It was among the first WOWA sealants and it was an underdeveloped thing. Dangerous stuff and it needs to be removed with a special method if it welds itself...

Re: When do YOU say that protection is gone?

When the water pools on the surface and evaporates completely without forming spots.

When a protective layer is still on the surface, the pooling water film suddenly breaks up if it gets thin...

I'd pre-rinse a panel with warm ONR, then wash it with warm ONR. When you reach areas with pronounced salt buildup, just lift as much water as you can, and/or keep a constant water flow from the pump...

Exactly that's why I indicated that the Hungarian average monthly income is 650 dollars... And it still costs US$120 to fill up my Camry (70 liters/18.5 gal.) with regular gas, and 132 with premium.
