  1. Re: I've tried every "blank" on the market and this is the best!

I understand your point, and try to get a feel for who has had experience trying many products, and use their advice vs. someone relatively new.

    Re: SAMPLES (original post updated)

Sorry to double post, but we could use a google document as a spread sheet and allow it only to be viewed if you are e-mailed the link.

    Re: SAMPLES (original post updated)

There has got to be a better way to organize trades.

Not trying to be critical, but it would be cool to have a floating "looking for" and "looking to trade" spreadsheet or something.

  14. Re: What would be a good polish to remove light marring by hand?

I have used Menzerna Powerfinish and Meguiar's Scratch X by hand with great results.

    note: Powerfinish vs. Powergloss

I am not a fan of the orange peel either, but I'd prefer to have some clear to work on as an insurance policy.

Re: Detailing Lights, what are you using?

    Amazon.com (~$40-$50)

LED Lenzer H7 (Not the h7r which is rechargeable.. I like to be able to put in fresh AAA's)(focusable and dimmable).

THE best light for defect spotting / removal imo.

I have that as well, and although similar in consistency, it isn't quite as thin.

Re: Chemical Guys LAVA WAX is almost here!

I got my Lava yesterday, and am surprised @ it's consistency. It is a cross between a paste and a liquid.

(@ least I hope that is supposed to be it's consistency)

Re: Detailing Lights, what are you using?

I have an MH light that I use. I got it in the industrial section of HD. I hotwired it to use with an extension cord.

I use it a lot, but not nearly as much as my led head lamp.

Re: Mothers Reflections Tire Care Review

That tire dressing is not only easy to apply and great looking, it is very durable as well. Some of the initial sheen is lost in a wash or 2, but the tire remains really black for a long time.
  25. Re: How to avoid marring? what is micro marring?

Micromarring is the small sized, uniform haziness left in the paint that a compound leaves due to the compound being aggressive as far as polish material size.

Micromarring can be removed with a...
