    yes it gets pretty hot in the car trunks. I personally put my stuff into a good insulated cooler. Hadn't any problems. So if not going to use just take cooler out.

    You may also want to try some sort of leather and vinyl trim scrub that into the trim sort of moisturizie it then seal it with some sort of dye black trim stuff don't remember off the top of my head...
