    Re: Outdoor car covers...thoughts

Same here, my covers are custom made. They are not immune from high winds though and they can and have shifted around, creating marring

    Re: Outdoor car covers...thoughts

Custom car covers are nothing new. My car covers are tailored to my car but it doesn’t mean marring can be prevented

    Re: Outdoor car covers...thoughts

I think I was able to put a Noah cover in the washing machine but it’s not like doing that prevented any marring

    Re: Outdoor car covers...thoughts

I used to use two on top of each other back when there were times when I parked outside occasionally but I found the cover was lightly marring my paint so I stopped using it. Perhaps today there are...

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

It’s not like I didn’t apply dressings all year long when I lived up north. It’s just second nature to me. Don’t forget about the wheel wells too!

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I really don't mind too much having to routinely reapply dressings. Coatings seem to have too many drawbacks to me. Maybe things will change with any product advancements in the future.

That’s not my issue. I’d rather save it for another time instead of throwing the thread off course.

Yes I know, my issue is a clothing related one, not an overstock detailing supply one

    Re: Incredibly Cheap Finds

Maybe the sharp point is the reason it wound up in Ross. I have issues with that store in general but that’s a conversation for another time

    Re: Carpro Darkside; blotchy, streaky??

I’m going to continue using thin products. My next one is going to be 253. I’ll just continue routinely reapplying

    Re: Best solution for depth

Souveran is my single most favorite LSP. It is joy to apply and the looks are spectacular every time. Its just is very short lived. That’s why they use it on show cars before competitions.

    Re: Best solution for depth

Depth is pretty important to me but I’m an old fashioned wax/sealant guy. My main product is Wolfgang Fuzion I just accept needing to reapply routinely.

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Those kinds of exercises are very rare down here! I think I’m the only one for miles around who does both of those

    Re: Rinseless Washes - 2022

I wouldn't order a single thing until I use up,give away,or throw away what I have. Being that,I only ordered one product back last summer. I'm clearly not a flavor of the month guy.
