Re: WG Instant Detail Spritz meltdown

Funny thing is, I did start using it. When I noticed no scent I put it away, but I still misted my pad with it! It wasn't until I got home I realized what was inside... It's around a year old, been...

I use WG DGPS after I polish or clay the car. Then I go over that with wax (OTC, Eagle One stuff -- I know).

    Re: Clay question.

I don't clay very often, probably only around twice a year like you said, but I get the urge to every time I wash her. I do use the WG paintwork polish enhancer every so often before I wax too. I...

    Clay question.

    Hey Guys,
Have a question about using clay on cars with the softer paints (Honda).

I've seen around here the normal procedure for a day would be wash, clay, polish(if needed), wax.

    On my...

Re: UPS - Adverse Weather Conditions???

I don't know if i'd say that FedEx is any better. When Plasma TV's first came out, we had to ship one to a venue. (It was a pioneer 60" that cost almost 70,000 dollars). We has a custom "Pelican"...

Great job! Gray is one of those colors that isn't fun to work with. I like seeing you next project out in the driveway. Great Work.

I was about to say that we'd have to put together a deal, send me the pads for shipping plus a few bucks!

Re: Glass Clay Bar vs. Paint Clay Bar

I think that if the glass clay is going to create scratches, then its not worth any savings. That's just my opinion. How much cheaper is the stuff, really?

Re: Glass Clay Bar vs. Paint Clay Bar

Glass is pretty darn hard to scratch, unlike paint. I would try it on one of your home windows in a place you might not notice. Chances are windows by planters are already pretty bad near the bottoms.

    Re: In-Line Water Softener?

Well, it may work great for washing your car. Sounds like your softener is working. The way water softeners work is called ion exchange, which means it takes the hard water ions (Calcium and...

Re: Glass Clay Bar vs. Paint Clay Bar

I would imagine that glass clay is more abrasive, being that glass is harder to scratch. I haven't ever bought a "Glass Clay Bar" either but i would bet that is the case.
