Re: AJ Auto Detail: Ford F-150 Raptor

Sweet looking truck. There's one around here like that, but the person doesn't take very good care of it. Must have too much $$$.

    Re: What are you....when polishing?

I haven't done many vehicles, mostly my own, but I would think that it would do nothing but slow you down if you went one panel at a time, start to finish before moving on to the next. I do...

    Re: In-Line Water Softener?

Same thing I have used for the past 3 years. Just don't forget to bring it in the house for the winter. Whatever is inside that thing likes to freeze, then it won't let any water through.

Re: Clay bar - any real difference?

I can't answer for anything but the Meguiars of the brands you mentioned. But I can say that I have also tried Mothers clay bar kit, and it seemed to work well, or as well as the Meguiars Smooth kit....

Re: Meg's Super Degreaser safe on wheels?

If your wheels are clear coated, and you keep them waxed, my guess is you would have to then wax the wheels again, if you got the super degreaser on them. I don't have the product myself, but I can...

Always use a carnuba based product last, to increase depth.

Not sure about the products, as I have not used them before. However, I would recommend claying the car before doing any kind of polish, or sealant/wax. Even though the car is new, it still may have...

  21. Re: Presidential Detailed: Blackwood, SN95 COBRA and MORE!

All 3 look really good. Nice work (even on the Cobra that wasn't up to your standards). That one is the owners fault there, not on you.

    Re: chip repair in progress

Sounds like a good process. I would be interested to see if this will work for my vehicles. ( I like to follow people too closely sometimes, and my truck has a LOT of chips on the hood).

    Thanks...

Re: Showroom Shined: 5 Farm Tractors

I detailed one of my Uncle's tractors once, and he laughed at me.
