That seems strange. I went out to look at my pads, and the density of the foam on the orange pad seems much tighter, as if there are more, finer pores than the green. Seems closer in foam density...

When I tried it a few years ago, it seemed to be OK IMO. It left more of a shine than the 303 I use now, and it didn't seem to protect as long also.

If I remember correctly, it also had an "oily"...

Ya, I went out and re-did the trunk this morning, and there was a big difference. All the micromarring is gone, and the 85RD left a very glossy and smooth surface.

Although I haven't used the LC, my reasoning for going with the Edge was as follows.

1. No need to worry about centering the pad. The adaptor and pad do it for you.
