I had some deep scratches that caught my fingernail (barley) and I wet sanded them out with 1500 grit. Be careful you don't go through the clear coat though.
The car went from being a 6 footer (swirls were easily seen) to a 2 footer. The paint is almost perfect, but there are RIDS that I just didn't care to spend the time on.
If you dont want to "polish" a car with a DA polishing machine, you can 'deep clean' your paint with Klasse AIO by hand. Seal it after taht with your choice of sealant - should take 2-3 hours tops.
Swanicyouth - FWIW IME there is a marked difference between oil & water based tire dressings. Meguiars Endurance tire gel would last a few rains and still have a nice...
No idea... all I know is M105 + MF cutting pad cut out the swirls but there are still plenty of scratches still there that bug me. I can see in 3 months or so pulling out a wool pad.
^ Yes I truly wish I had something more aggressive on hand... surbuf, LC Thin Wool or a Carpro Cool Wool pad would of been much better... oh well, now I know.
