Who makes the pads? In the market for some now... the crappy ones I got are separating( had to glue them with e3000, in order to finish the son in law's car)?
Can't justify buying a dedicated polish for this; I could mix a concoction with certain oxide powder I have lying around from another project, and have reason pads...
Watched them all already.
Don't need cerium oxide based polish.
I just need to get water spots off. The glass doesn't need correcting at all (I actually think some of the spots are from the plastic...
Hi all, quick question.
What type of pads do you use on your RO polishers to polish glass.
Not looking to remove scratches or pock marks; just water marks, wiper streaks, etc.
Reason I ask is I...
It was sitting outside since last camping trip in late July.
Cleaned with dish soap, followed by 25% IPA for prepping, and then coated with left over McKee's 37 ceramic...
Here's the before and after. 3 scrub downs, followed by 25% alcohol wipe down, and application (1 coat) of DLux. Tried a regular ceramic, no discernable...
I was wondering whether it was the coat, as compared to weathering. The fact that the DLux was on for about 2.5 years was making it question whether it was a true fade, compared to perhaps ceramic...
So, in your opinion, it has weathered and faded, and thus needs a dye based solution? I have been watching some "longevity" videos, and the review basically said Solution Finish was the way to go...
Just dried it off, using Griot's 3-1 as a drying aid (love WFH ;) ). All looks good so far, except "maybe" the gloss black plastic side mirror housings.
When you all are going at he engine with cleaning agents, water, etc., are you covering specific parts of the engines themselves, or just going at it, and drying with towel, air, etc.?
