As I understand it, the problem with "touchless wash" places is that they rely upon harsh chemicals to "clean" your vehicle, which present a two fold problem.

Just because you believe something, doesn't mean it is so. So if the beholder believes that wax A looks better than wax B and we had some way of measuring it be untrue, doesn't make a lot of sense...
Plus, you ever notice that some people will swear by "product x" only if you try it, for whatever reason, you might not get the results you expected or had hoped for.
