I have a the Ridgid 6 gal 3.5hp and I hate it. I don't use it for car cleaning, mainly garage stuff. I used it in my old house while remodeling and its crazy loud, and really doesn't clean well...
What do you use to clean it before topping? I'm using the store bought-bathroom specific cleaners, and they arent cutting through the hard water spots. It's not a copper sink though...if that matters.
96 Explorer XLT with the 5.0. My dad got this off his friend for $800. It ran great but it used to kill me in gas...some lady hit it while it was parked by the curb in front of our house and totaled...
I’ve yet to make/try a French 75 but I’ve been meaning to. The wife doesn’t help me cook, but that’s ok. I’d much rather eat my food vs her cooking…lol
I haven't tried many of the store branded soaps. If the car is really dirty I typically use an APC 1:8 or 1:10 and spray it on the car dry. Let it sit for a couple mins...
I'm in North Texas, so I'm right here with you. Be lucky to rinse a car off after 9am in the spring time and get it dry without water spots. The mornings right now are awesome.
I was racking my brain on this for a couple weeks because I'm in the same situation you are. Recently watched Apex Detail's videos on polishing with body lotion, and then with water. The pads were...
I keep all of my gallons, coatings, and things I don't use on a regular basis in a coat closet inside the house. RTUs, shampoos, etc. are in the cabinets in the garage.
My wife was in the same boat. Didn't want the vaccine, then she got Covid. It's supposedly worse for people with asthma, which she has. She pulled out of it after about 5 days with antibiotics, and...
I think the anti-vax thing is going to over with sooner than later. Then the people who are 100% against it are going to act like they weren't. My job required all employees to get it by Oct. 11th....
In Texas I still try to wash once a week at least. I'd prefer to wash every 3 days or so. I do daily drive mine so 3 days is about as long as I can go if I want to do a touch-less wash in the...
I agree. This came from "that guy" on the VN forum. You know what I mean...the guy who over complicates every little thing, and seems to argue his point until the end of time.
I had a Challenger RT, I bought new in 2012. People do the same thing with those, at the time it was the Viper rep wheels, now its the Hellcat reps. I actually put viper wheels on mine and thought it...
I look at wheels for this thing probably twice a week, and I've only had the car a month and a half lol. Yeah I hate how you cant fit any common sizes on Hyundais'. Considering 18x8.5 ET 40-50....
I just got a new Veloster N DCT last month and i'm loving it. First car ive ever gotten PPF on and will probably be the first I put a ceramic coating on.
