    Re: Gyeon restart wash

Interested in this as a prewash foam. Just wondering if it smells like iron remover.

Re: Wax Toppers over ceramic coating

I would go with the Gyeon wax as it is compatible with ceramic coatings. Not sure about the Turtle Wax.

Re: P&S Brake Buster - Newbie Questions

It will likely work better if applied on dry wheel.

Just scrub after letting sit. If your tires are dirty, you will have to do multiple passes.

I wouldn't mix wash soap with Brake Buster, it...

Re: Advice on drying towels needed!

I do want to compare the PFM to my other twist loops, but the price is too high just to experiment for fun. Maybe on a good sale one day.

Re: Advice on drying towels needed!

I am fully aware of it. Im not a pro detailer, so I dont need the highest absorbency. Having the highest absorbancy doesnt mean the best towel for me. I just need enough to dry my own car easily...
  8. Re: Disposable microfiber towels for cleaning up bird droppings

Im sure some people are just more sensitive to it. Not saying they are unsafe or rough, I just prefer other types. Form over function for me

Re: Advice on drying towels needed!

I myself don't like the grabbiness either. Look up a micro twist pile towel. It absorbs almost as much as a twisted loop but smooth across the paint.

Twisted loop towels always feel a bit grabby.

    Re: Layering Wax/Sealant

    Chemical Guys has spiffy marketing....
I would look into ceramic coating your car. Lot of good options depending on your needs. The hybrid ceramic sprays from Meguiars and TW have good durability...

Hardly ever hear anyone mention the MTM microfibers. Almost certain the duplex is a rebrand of the Purestar duplex, which is highly regarded in the UK forums
