No, this is strickly due to improper techniques when washing or wiping down the paint.
Hopefull this guy learns proper ways real quick..if not hes either gonna run outta money or run outta paint...

Personally i would use a rinseless solution in the effected bug splatter area to remove so it does not etch the paint/coating
