Finishing with a rotary is done by thousands. It's not some secret artistic unicorn of a trade. I've done it in the past with low speed and pressure with a soft finishing pad.
I was just asking...

I've used rotaries.. Never had any issues. Lack of common sense and recklessly applying the tool will get you the above. Never happened. Ever.
