    I would call customer service directly instead of emailing. I had a good experience that way. It speed things up if you've ordered directly from Griot's.

    Update: Griot's sent a replacement G8 and it works perfectly. None of the problems in the first one are present in this one.

    I had it in until it clicked, and I also tried the cord from my G9. The performance was the same with both cords pushed all the way in.

    My G8 had the same problems. The speed oscillated up and down fairly dramatically on speeds 1-3. It sounded like an engine trying to rev up but not quite getting there, as if the power was...
