That's why I decided to not kick off the season yet. I set up my final semester of school so I could detail several days a week once weather hear in lovely Northwest Ohio broke. I made sure to do...
I love F-Bomb as an APC. I've seen rave reviews about their other products, just haven't moved enough inventory to justify buying it yet for fear of my health if the love of my life found more...
Everyone, I'd like to emphasize extreme caution with detailing during this time, not only from a liability standpoint but from a health one as well. This virus spreads easy as it can be transmitted...
I spray and pray. Even aluminum is not impervious to corrosion. Airports are unsalted because salt will attack bare aluminum so keeping a car clean in winter is a good way to slow the oxidation...
As a DIYer I'd have to go with Meguiars and McKee's I think. They each make up about 70% of my detailing supplies and the rest are odd and ends that do a better job than they can provide
I use N-914 from McKee's on a crap microfiber but I coated my tires. I really recommend using a tire coating as mine stay cleaner longer and with less work!
How far are you willing to go? If you're dealing with pigmented leather the best way is to strip the seat, rehydrate the leather, and then redye it then put a "clear coat" on it for a factory finish...
I'd stick with the 90 day rule. You should be able to find out the last day of painting and start the clock from there. I only know one guy in Michigan that will bake a plane for you after painting...
I need to price it out. Sadly, time has been in short supply lately so it's on my back burner for the time being. Hopefully this summer I can take a look at doing it
That's why part of me just wants to buy new glass [emoji28] I have some small scratches on my side glass and rear hatch I'd like to to buff out but time is valuable to me and it's a lot of time

Glass polishing with the ceriglass (or other reputable glass polish designed to remove materical) may be the way to go. I have to price out a glass kit vs just having my glass replaced with the same...
I found some online from a vendor but it would be more than I need. I'll just find an installer near me and buy some scrap pieces or just the few feet I'll need from them
I suppose I should have elaborated a bit more. I chose the similar method to the OP due to cost. It was cheaper for me to buy touch-up paint and gently fill the chips with the touch-up than it was to...
One tip I found from Larry at Ammo was to put carnuba around the chips and clean inside the chips (I use sandpaper attached to a pencil eraser) then use an IPA dabbed in the chip. The carnuba...
