Re: Final wipe down before ceramic coating

    What would be your recommendations?
Have washed with Koch chemie AS shampoo.
What I can see the car looks good other than the halve of the roof with the stain look. It looks smudge like.

Something else as well please can you help, there seems to be like a stain type from a wipe couple of weeks ago. Any suggestions with steps to remove prior to coating.
Was thinking clay just on roof?

  12. Re: CERAKOTE enters the Auto Ceramic Coating Market

    Yep saw those as well.
Some people says it still performs well and haven't had a problem with it. I use YT as a guide not the final decision always.
The CEO fronted which was good.
    I think they...
  13. Re: CERAKOTE enters the Auto Ceramic Coating Market

I guess you had a bad experience with it.
    In what way?
Mine is on its way 1st time user.
It's taken awhile for v2 so I would assume things have been ironed out.
    Keep me informed.

  19. Re: Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash (used as Waterless) vs Koch Chemie FSE (Finish Spray Exterior)

I used 70ml uber in 3 litres of distilled water.
It's almost like it had dried in some places, weather wasn't very hot. Was done in the garage.
I wonder when wiping of the towel was slightly damp.

  21. Re: Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash (used as Waterless) vs Koch Chemie FSE (Finish Spray Exterior)

    Thank you.
It was a bit grabby when initially wiping off but 2nd wipe seemed to be ok.
I sprayed the towels and sprayed the panels with Uber.
    Is it my technique maybe?
  22. Re: Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash (used as Waterless) vs Koch Chemie FSE (Finish Spray Exterior)

Ok so 1.5L sounds about right.
  23. Re: Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash (used as Waterless) vs Koch Chemie FSE (Finish Spray Exterior)

    It seems to be ok.
Soaked the wipe cloth as well as the panel.
It was a bit grabby when wiping off, needed two wipes.
  24. Re: Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash (used as Waterless) vs Koch Chemie FSE (Finish Spray Exterior)

I used about 1.5 litres is this ok?
  25. Re: Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash (used as Waterless) vs Koch Chemie FSE (Finish Spray Exterior)

    Thank you.
It hasn't been washed for awhile, (although not driven much either) due to a injury. Thought there might be a bit of build up in places.
Would you use the Wolfgang Uber or the Koch...
