Re: 25% off Earth day order placed.
Man,
some of these orders make mine look small. But then again, I'm just doing it for myself...
I ordered:
1 M-6601 - 128 oz. Meguiar's Mirror Glaze #66 Quick Deta 29.99
1 M-0216 - 16 oz. Meguiars Mirror Glaze #2 Fine Cut Clea 11.99
1 D-15601 - 128 oz. Meguiar's Synthetic X-press Spray Wa 29.99
1 CO-845 - 16 oz. Collinite Liquid Insulator Wax #845 18.99
1 EARTH25 - Earth Day Sale - 25% Off Your Order! -22.74
Can't wait for it to arrive tomorrow!
Starting to think I should have went with the D151 over the #66. But too late now!
Looking forward to testing out the Collinite 845. Seems to be all over this forum. Might need to wait though, I just applied Griot's all in one sealant the other weekend :/

You plan to use D-156 spray wax as a drying aid or after you dry the car?

Haven't really given it much thought yet. What are your thoughts?

Re: 25% off Earth day order placed.
I use spray wax as a drying aid. I don't know why more people don't. I want my drying to be as slick and mar-free as possible. What better way than to use the inherent slickness of the wax to reduce marring? But, I've always used a QD and/or wax as a drying aid and never dried paint with a plain towel alone.
The rap against it is people say you're replacing existing wax with new spray wax and that it is a waste of spray wax. I don't dispute that. What I see is that using spray wax on top of previous wax is that I am leveling whatever wax is already there and allowing it to even out, filling in any potential thin spots that may exist for whatever reason.

And the CAR BRITE products. WET reads just like hyperdressing. And the select soap looks good. The McKess 10min. paint sealant I am looking forward to also.
DG 253 is my favorite tire dressing. Longest lasting stuff I've found and zero sling. One coat just gives tires a new look. 2-3 coats makes it shiny. I also use it on my weathertech mats. Makes them look like new. It's also nice on any black or textured trim.

Re: 25% off Earth day order placed.
Odds are I'll use it as a drying aid. It seems silly to dry off the car, spray it again, and then have to wipe it down a second time. But I'm guessing it probably adheres better if the car is not wet.
