I was thinking if its even possible...
To base your side gig detailing and correcting off just one machine or one machine line. As an example tackling every job with a GG21 or a rupes (all their polishers) shoot even q PC or GG6. Can it be done? Are people that love rotary polishers just in love due to speed level of coerection being able to do more as such little time. Thoughts answers

When I started on detailing forums we didn't have the wealth of machines we have now--there was the (old, non-XP) Porter Cable DA, and huge heavy rotaries, and that was it. So yes of course you can base a side gig on one machine. People are spoiled today by comparison, but that's just progress and the growth of the market.

Everything from the PC to a rotary can do the jobs, what people use multiple machines for mainly is for different parts of the cars IE small areas which used to have to be done by hand. I would say you can get any job done with a PC or GG6 just as well as a FLEX or RUPES though not as quickly

Sure. I used a PC exclusively when I started doing this. Heck even now my Rupes 15 is over two years old and my Rupes 75 is over a year old, and I have no plans to purchase any further machines for a looooong time unless needed due to a break down.

I use only a GG6. However, I am only a weekend warrior and only do friends and family. So far, I have been able to tackle everything I have needed to with the GG6.
