LC Orbital vs Megs (new) foam disc

I am going to be receiving my Rupes 21 any day now and need to order new pads. I've been doing my homework and the LC Orbital really intrigue me, but their beveled edges have me worried.

The new Meg foam discs look to fit well, and I like the thinness of the foam discs because I am so used to cutting with Meg MF disc. So the comfort (in my mind) of the thin pad seems like it will be able to transfer better.

Sorry if I'm beating a dead horse, I read Windows&Wheels review of the Meg foam discs and they seem to be a winner, but the LC Orbital really fit the bill of the Rupes system with their center vent and rubber backing.

I just want to place my order already!!

just stay with the Rupes pads and polishes, they were created to work together

The Orbital beveled edges? Seems to me when they taper as sharp as they do they may shred it contacted against a panel or large contour body panel.

Correct me if I am wrong, but weren't the LC Orbitals designed with the Rupes directly in mind?

Both should hold up very well and I think you'd be happy with either, but having used both I just prefer the Megs.

I had some Megs pads prior to release and just stocked up now that they're available.
