    Rupes Mini Pad Choices

Well my trust old PCXP finally totally broke down so I am in need of a small pad polisher urgently.

Are you guys running '3 or '4 inch pads on your mini?

Which pads are working well? The Rupes pads look nice but seem really pricy when I can get B&S MF 4' pads for a really nice price.

I run mostly 6.5 pads on my Rupes 15 with some 5 inch mingled in. The mini really is for working tight spots.

    Thanks for the input!

I have the 75 E , it'll shred 3" and 4" pads if doing anything other than waxing on 1-2, I bought rupes pads, it'll save you $$ in the long run and they work better and are balanced much better. I tried running a 4" non rupes at 6 and it whipped it right off the backing.

It's a great machine, in a class by it's own in the 3" world.

So are you guys primarily running the 3 or 4 inch pads? Looks like I'm going to need to go with the Rupes for longevity sake.

I run 4" Rupes pads on my mini. Haven't had any need for the 3" pads.

So I guess the 4 inch are small enough for the tight spots you are tackling? I'm just not wanting to order both 4' and 3'. When I order a pad size/type I like to stick to it.

Today I used my new Rupes 75 E with Rupes 4" pads on speed 5. It shredded two pads, wish I would have seen your post. So how do you remove swirls in tight areas at 1-2 with Rupes 75 E? I have no problem putting wax on by hand in tight places or to the entire car.
