Was going to use Meg's finishing pad but alright I'll use the rupee one.
I'm using Meg's 7" foam compound & polishing pads along with D105 & D205

The megs pads fall apart on the Rupes.

Re: Machine Apply Wax w/Rupes?
I am not familiar with Pads for the Rupes, however, for all the DA's that I use are the Lake Country CCS Red pads or Gold Jeweling Pad. For Hex Logic I will use the Red Pads. The Black Pads for both are OK, however, I prefer the Red Pad or Gold.
I would assume the Rupes has a Red or Gold "type" pad. I would not use the Polishing Pad (white) as it is too hard IMO.
Either way IT IS possible to wax your car with the Rupes...

The Rupes white pad is similar to a Lake Country blue or red pad. Rupes pads go blue-green-yellow-white in order of coarse to gentle.

Thank you for letting me know. I do apologize if I offended anyone on this. I am not familiar with the Rupes DA's.
I know the Rupes is a BEAST of DA and is in the elite class of DA's like the Flex. Everything else is secondary.
Have an awesome day!

I've never had any issues with using the white rupes pad to apply waxes. In fact, Mike Phillips posted very recently about using the 4" white rupes pad to apply finishing wax. IMO the white pad is GREAT for applying waxes.

Found my test with the Megs pads:
Here is the pad after three section passes:

No worries Kamakaz, I thought it was weird to how they used white for a finishing pad too, but I guess everyone makes their own way and they have made a system out of it. Their white capped polish is their ultra fine polish and the white foam pad is a finishing pad.
Taken right from Autogeek's store:
"Rupes Diamond Ultra Fine Gel Polish is the 4th and final step in the Rupes Big Foot Polishing System. This ultra-fine polish utilizes micro abrasives that quickly polish away light swirl marks and holograms. All colors will produce crisp, clear reflections after being polished with Rupes Diamond Ultra Fine Gel Polish. Rupes Diamond UItra Fine Gel Polish was designed to be used with a Rupes White Finishing Foam Pad on a Rupes Big Foot Random Orbital Polisher."
