Cord mod, Rupes LHR75E!!!
Well, after modding my Flex and my Rupes, I decided it was time to do the 75E with the left over Flex 3401 cable I had.
This was only really to make the polisher less susceptible to tangling as the Rupes cables do. Anyway, on to the write up.
First, remove the case, Phillips screws:
Inside:
Now the next step you want to take a flat screwdriver to the front of the power switch and pop it off so you can slide the plastic piece off of the switch inside of the machine. BE VERY VERY CAREFUL!!!:
Piece slid off, and leads exposed:
Pop the piece off of the bottom so you can remove the old wires and install the new ones:
Install the new wires and this is what you get:
And done, tangle free 75E:
Hope this helps, as my other ones did.
Cost: Free, used my old Flex cable
Time: ~30 minutes
