Yep. I used some LC pads after using nothing but Rupes pads for a while and was like "this is not for me". But people will still buy other pads because they are $3 cheaper. Go figure.

I honestly did not believe Rupes when they said they're pads are the smoothest, thought it might be a marketing tactic. However, nope, it's true.

Like you said earlier about safety, it's all about the correction. I think I can live with it not so smooth as with original pads but I'll likely buy some anyway.

Sounds good to me!
The Rupes yellow and white pads finish great. The green and blue, not so much. If you're planning on a 1-step, green and blue are not the ticket, unless the paint is hard.

Re: Rupes 15 or 21
I was deciding on the flex or rupes 21. I just read that you shouldn't use a 5"bp on the rupes 21. I think it was Hernandez who spoke to the rupes rep and he said it was ok to use sometimes but not to turn the machine into a 5 inch machine.

Re: Rupes 15 or 21
I purchased the 15 and the 75 last month, and finally got to use them last week. It is leaps and bounds above the HF polisher I was using, as it should be for the price you pay. But the correction is quick and effortless compared to my old DA. I would have to say that these to machines will save me a nice amount of time per car on paint correction jobs. If you don't plan on using any pads larger than 5.5", it really isn't worth spending the extra money on the 21. This is why I decided to just stick with the 15 over the 21.

Re: Rupes 15 or 21
There is a video on the CG Youtube of Greg using a CG black MF pad on the Rupes 21 with 5" bp. It worked awesome and gave great results.
Also I noticed even going over curves etc the Rupes didn't stall once.

Saw the same video and was wondering the same thing I didn't see any stalling?
