Thats what i felt. Anyway it wont bog down easily. Btw Todd Helme told in one Sema.video that the firmware is new and it has little more torque.

About the rotary. I spoke to them Friday and they said a small amount would go out this week. The rest will go out somewhere around the first of 2019. I gave my spot up and got a Fes instead a while back and just recently had them send me a Mille instead.
Upgraded Duetto would be sweet.
Maybe offer in a 15 and 21 orbit... Maybe make them interchangeable?
Anyway, an upgraded Duetto is something I'd really be interested in.

Is the warranty any better or still just a one year?

Still one year. If you want good warranty then Griot’s is the way to go.

I have an extra shroud that's already trimmed, so yes. I would never run any long throw without as much free spin as possible.

Re: Anyone excited for the MK3?
Nope, not excited. It's a marginal improvement, which is nice, but not worth upgrading to IMHO. The one thing that I like about it is that it is designed to stay in place when you put it down. My mark 1 has a tendency to fall on it's side all the time no matter how careful I am. I might just steal their idea and install rubber feet on the back of mine.
The longer cord is also nice, but I always use an extension cord, so for me it would make very little difference.
Progressive trigger... maybe if I used it I could see the benefit but really, I want the machine to run at the speed I set it at. 90% of the time I use the trigger lock so I don't have to squeeze that thing for hours at a time. I remember the first car I did, I did not use the trigger lock. After finishing the compounding and polishing I could barelly open and close my hand. Learned a valuable lesson that day
The extra grip spots they added, like on the Griot's Boss machines are nice, but again, not enough to justify a 500$ expense.
Of course if my machine dies and is not repairable, I would grab a Mark III as a replacement.

That would be my dream machine right there.
I don’t know how true it is. But I’ve heard talks lately about a Duetto, Mini and Nano Mark II for Sema next year. I would be game for the Duetto and Nano if they do. The Nano is a awesome tool. But there is a lot of room for improvement on it. It will be interesting to see what they come up with.
