Well actually professinal detailer tested it, compared to another mk2 and mk1 and the machine is not faulty.

Yeah im wondering that myself. Duetto shouldnt be more powerfull than 15 mk2 but in my case it is. I still need to test it more and try different washer etc.

In your video what speeds and pressure were you using on both the 15 and 21?

Speed 4 and moderate pressure. Im a big gym guy so my moderate may be heavy for some Only thing i can think of is that my washer is 1mm thick and not 100% slick. The washer on my 21 is same kind but better looking. The washer on my duetto is thinner.

No point to get a 15 and duetto.

The ideal combo is 21 and duetto that would be more complimentary of a combo.

I totally agree with you. One could get 21 with 5" bp and duetto with kamikaze 3" bp. Then one would get two machines and four bp options.

Joel1979, just to be clear, you're running the washer on all machines?

    Thanks!

You know, I've often wondered why the Mini doesn't have the anti-spin feature....

Kind of makes me wonder how necessary it is on the other tools.

The mini is regarded as a monster of a polisher. There have been times I modded the Duetto and saw a fairly significant increase in defect removal. It might me one of those things where I'll cut modded, and polish un-modded.

I know that it's not supposed to be the case, but there is increased rotation with the washer installed, and that extra motion increases friction, which removes more paint.

The finish of the stock tools leave is fantastic, but then again, so does the Mini...
