rotary or rupes
Time to buy a new polisher...
I currently have a 500W Dual Action Polisher and a cheap rotary...
And it's time to replace the rotary.
So, should I go for another rotary, or should I go for a Rupes?
I've heard many people say that rupes can't cut like a rotary, others say it's a perfect replacement...

I would go for the Rupes!

Re: rotary or rupes
why not have the best of both worlds and get a flex. it'e been covered many times, but if you get the interchangeable backing plates and pads, you'll have your basis covered. there's really nothing it can't handle these days...

Re: rotary or rupes
I can't decide on either, so I decided to get both a Flex PE14-2 (If I remember the number correctly), and the Rupes Duetto and Mini to supplement my Flex 3401, and PC 7346sp, and 7424xp.

FLEX for the win! - 3401 or PE-14. can't go wrong with either.
