Definitely use the lock button. I'm with you on how quiet it is and no more vibration like the PC. Much more quiet than the Flex but I love my Flex for getting even results. Are you having any problems with the polish drying out?

My issues with polish drying out is related to the heat here. It has been cool for over a week now and I haven't had any issues.

I have that machine. Great for beat up cars but you will want to finish with a DA. You wont see it because of the wax and im sure people with disagree with me but its near impossible to finish hologram free with a rotory. Every one seems to think they can and i have made alot of money cleaning these cars up. After going forced action with my flex i only use the rotory for boats now. That technology may be obselete now.
