IMO, less chance of stripping the head out next time I R&R the grease

[QUOTE=HateSwirls;1012977]I'm still trying to make up my mind on which rotary I want to buy.
I had a Mikita that was stolen from the back of my truck so I bought the HF Electronic rotary.
Pros - Good power, well balanced, holds selected RPM's pretty good even with load.
Cons - Cheap unit, heavy, no throttle control, just an on/off switch.

I put a really good BP with good pads and works just fine, I miss my Mikita
Now I'm leaning towards the DeWalt, might as well wait until the holidays are over now.
    Who knows what I'll buy[/QUOTE

Does yours fluctuate at low speed with no load? My buddy had one, and it wouldn't stay steady, it "idled" like an old Honda.

No it doesn't fluckuate at all.
As you l know it has a soft start, well more of a delay, I'm like come on let's go. Lol
I've had it for awhile now and haven't had one issue with it.
If it was lighter I wouldn't look for another one.

It works really good with my CG BP.

    Re: Harbor Freight Rotary Buffer

I had that HF buffer and i Sh** canned it. I hated using it because it was so heavy. I also have the PC DA and i dont really have any vibration. I mean theres some when its at max RPM but not unbearable.

EDIT: Nvm. I guess i should have clicked the link first. My HF buffer was much bigger and weighed like 10 lbs. Doesnt seem like much but when youre trying to hold it up for an hour+ it felt like 300lbs
