Re: Richy's M105 video (no dusting technique)

I always said I didn't want a rotary but after ur video I wouldn't mind taking it slow and learning. Seems to be a huge time saver! Thanks for the Video.

Good video and shows exactly how to use M105 correctly....

Works the same with a DA.

I don't think u put a DA at 1000 rpm and go so fast with the pass. But I also get dust so I obviously use it wrong. With a few drops and a 4000rpm and the pad given a few sprays of pad conditioner it does work better than using the product to prime it but I still get dust and its hard for me to remove. I do like the video though.

For me it dust when I'm working outside, it doesn't when I'm inside. That simple. Thanks for the video, I cringed a little every time you buffed over that body line. You probably have a lot more rotary experience then me, I always thought that was a no,no.

If it's dusting then it's too much product....

Put like 3 or 4 drops on the DA pad and rub it on the paint to spread it around, it primes the pad also, you can add a like a drop or two....

Then start the DA and work the area until it almost disappears, wipe off.

Then just use 3 drops and move on section to section.

And yeah if that happens it will dust like crazy.....

And then they complain about the dusting.....

When they used too much product in the 1st place...

No worries. Just like any edge, you just have to use your head about how you do it. And, yes, I've been doing this a long time.

good information. Maybe this will stop people from using an ounce of 105 and complain about it dusting.
I've never had a problem using 105 because I only use what I need.

Also turn your phone sideways when making videos!
